🌱 What is Yvy

Yvy is a social recipe app that helps people waste less food by cooking smarter with what they already have in the house.

The app creates a personalized meal plan each week based on your digital pantry, compiles smart shopping lists and includes an AI chef who comes up with creative recipes with your leftovers.

In short: Yvy helps you plan better, throw away less and eat more consciously.

🚀 Where does Yvy stand now

Yvy once began as a hobby project and has taken on different forms over time. What started out as a social recipe community has now grown into a platform with a clear mission: to combat food waste in a fun, easy and inspiring way.

Currently, I run Yvy on my own. The new version just went live, and this feels like the perfect time to build growth together and make Yvy something great.

The ambition is to grow Yvy into the platform for sustainable cooking.

Therefore, I am looking for a content creator (and a marketing strategist) who will work with me to bring the brand to life with stories, images and ideas that touch people.

We are focusing on the Dutch market first, with the goal of creating enough traction for a first round of investment within nine months.

💚 What you get

Yvy is still in its early stages and cannot offer a salary at this time.

As part of the founding team, you get the chance to really build from the beginning, with 10% equity in the company.

When we reach our first marketing milestones within nine months, I want to raise funding. From then on, the role will grow into a full-fledged, paid position.

You know how to make a brand feel personal and inspiring — whether through social content that captures Yvy’s mission and tone, or short app promo videos that bring our features and impact to life. You enjoy experimenting with new ideas, shaping visual identity, and translating a purpose-driven story into content that connects with people. You speak and write fluent Dutch and understand the Dutch market — essential for growing Yvy’s community here.
